Oliverian Museum of Archaeology

Interno Museo Archeologico Oliveriano

The Oliverian Museum of Archaeology has been in palazzo Americi since 1892. The palazzo is one of the most important examples of 18th. century architecture in Pesaro. The collections include those of its patrician founder Annibale degli Abbati Olivieri and of his friends. Further acquisitions are later additions, such as the finds from the Picena necropolis excavated at Novilara towards the end of the 19th. century.
